We're here at Pegasus.
A coffee lover’s theme park.
Two fast facts about Pegasus.
They opened the first brick and mortar coffee bar in Seattle.
No, it wasn't Starbucks.
Secondly, this was the home of the first espresso machine west of the Puge.. Let's go inside and talk to the owner, Matt.
Okay, Matt, tell me, what is the secret to a great cup of coffee?
Well, like like any food, food or beverage, it's all about the ingredients.
So at least it starts there.
So you have to source the best coffee.
Which we do from all over the world.
You then have to roast it really well, with precision, and then brewing is critical.
You can roast.
Have great coffee that's..
It's not going to taste right.
So we invest a lot in the training of our team to make sure e..
But then there's a human component as well.
The whole coffeehouse experience about people connecting over coffee.
And I think if you're missing that, it just doesn't taste the same.
So we care a lot about the community.
In addition to the pub.
So now that I'm well caffeinated, where should I go to next?
I’d definitely go to the art museum.
Bainbridge Island Museum of Art, just up the street.
Awesome.
Thank you.
This is the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art.
It's open pretty much every day of the year, except maybe three.
Speaking of three, every piece of art in here changes three times a year.
Best of all, it's free.
Let's go check out some art.
This place is incredible.
I love art, but I also love shopping.
We're on Winslow Way, in the heart of the shopping district on Bainbridge Island.
Here we have restaurants, art galleries, tasting rooms.
Let me show you a shop that caught my eye.
So today we've seen some great things.
We've tasted some great things.
Now watch this.
And we've smelled some great things.
I'm Angela.
Thanks for exploring.
I'll see you.
