The former head of Chicago Public Schools is raising millions for local students.
After more than three years as CEO of Chicago Public Schools, Janice Jackson is now heading a scholarship organization to provide funding and support to college-bound Chicago students and their families. The goal of Hope Chicago is to “raise, invest and deploy” one billion dollars in scholarships and aid over the next 10 years.
