my husband and I We just kept passing the curling center, like, we should check that out.
It seems like an interesting sport.
And the second we got here, everyone was so kind.
It's a sport.
that allows anybody to play up until you know you're 95.
Growing up in Canada.
Every little community in town had a curling rink and a hockey rink.
And that's where the community kind of hung out on the weekends.
when I moved to Colorado, there wasn't a dedicated facility initially.
And then this opened up in 2014.
So I was very excited to have dedicated Ice again and immediately joined and got involved for the last ten, 12 years.
Now.
Come on.
physically you can do it and you can learn it very quickly.
Like, we do a lot of learned accruals and corporate events, and they're only two hours on the ice.
And even within that you can learn the technique of delivering a stone.
You can learn a little bit about the strategy.
but the sweeping particularly people go, that was exhausting.
you know, we've got some really world class people here.
when you play against them, you get better.
So if you play against the best and you're going to improve your game and they're going to make you do hard shots and they're going to make you, my.
be better than you thought you could be.
