Free tutoring for some Newark students

The program is scheduled to begin next month with after-school and weekend sessions.

Some students in Newark are getting extra help to succeed in school. The Newark Unites Tutoring Center will provide free tutoring sessions to kids in the 9th and 10th grades. It’s a joint effort between Metropolitan Baptist Church, Great Oaks Legacy Charter School and the New Jersey Children’s Foundation.
