Biology and Ecology teacher Robert Knudson comes out of retirement to take us for a walk in the woods, showing us how to identify the common deciduous trees of Northern Minnesota by their leaves. He demonstrates side-by-side comparisons of the different species’ traits and he talks of the importance of understanding one’s environment when one is enjoying our beautiful Minnesota outdoors.
