Also tonight, the controversial congestion pricing plan in New York City is already pulling in some big bucks in its first month.

The MTA reports the program generated more than $48 million in January alone.

Congestion pricing went into effect last month, charging drivers $9 to enter Manhattan below 60th Street.

Now, the MTA says about 70% of that money came from passenger cars, with another 20% generated by taxis and other for hire cars.

The agency says these first figures show they're on track to meet their goal of 500 million in revenue.

That's meant for construction projects to improve MTA's transit system.

But congestion pricing, its future is still up in the air.

With President Trump and the Department of Transportation signaling they'll end the pricing scheme, as we've reported, New York Governor Kathy Hochul has sued the administration to keep the program in place.
