The results are in for the midterm primaries, the state budget battle continues.
The U.S. Senate race was the biggest surprise in this week's congressional primaries. Menendez won the race, but a little- known candidate got almost 40 percent of the vote. Competitive races went mostly to front-runners, with a few upsets. Where do the state budget negotiations stand as the deadline looms closer? Will the governor, speaker and Senate president be able to get on the same page?
