Let's get underway with all of the stories that you need to know heading into week zero or going to start with the storylines from the And one of our recruiter, a recurring Source storylines was where's LT. Bottom line is LT, he ain't in Milton no more.

He's not in case you were on vacation, we got the top stories from past couple of months.

LT, Overton signed with Texas A&M easily, the biggest story of the offseason with the extremely rare.

Reclassification of LT, Overton into the class of 2020, to after national Signing Day and his subsequent signing with Texas A&M in April, 25 star Milton star was the Over one Junior Prospect in the state.

And at one point, the number one Prospect in the nation with the reclassification was rated.

Number 3 in Georgia, number four, defensive linemen in the nation, he chose the Aggies Over Georgia, Oregon, Ohio, State, and Oklahoma, you might not know this, he was actually born in College Station.

When his parents worked in the Aggies athletic Administration, he finishes up his Eagles career with 48 quarterback sacks and close to 100.

Tfl Story.

Number two were asking where Justice is served and it is now at Beaufort Yeah, Justice Haynes, chooses Alabama, absolute stunner in July.

When the top running back in the state, Justice Haynes committed to Alabama unto itself, that news is big, but what it made it especially surprising is that justices, father, Varane starred for the Bulldogs 20 years ago.

Many thought it was a foregone conclusion, that son would follow dad to Georgia.

James fast is the number two Prospect in Georgia.

Number three, running back in the nation, spent the first three seasons of his varsity, Greer Blessed Trinity.

He helping the Titans to a State title as a freshman.

But transferred to Buford for his senior season, he has rushed for close to fifty nine hundred yards in his career, 76 total touchdowns.

Next, two stories are length and Tuscaloosa invades Gwinnett County, First on defense.

Yeah, Alabama Landing the top players in Georgia, despite losing to the Bulldogs and the national championship game, they've been making up ground.

The last eight months, in addition to Haines, bam has landed commitment from the numbers one, and five players in Georgia, that number one Prospect right there, man.

Week five star, Caleb Downs.

Number one, safety in the nation, chose the Crimson Tide three weeks ago like Haynes broke Family, Ties to go with Bama.

His brother Josh is an all-acc wide receiver at North Carolina.

His uncle, former pro bowl Corner.

Dre, Bly is an assistant with the Tar Heels.

His dad played at NC State and in the NFL as well.

But he chooses Bama Tuscaloosa, invades Gwinnett County, the offensive version.

Number five, player in the state Brookwood for Star Quarterback, Dylan.

Lonergan top-rated signal caller and George.

Shh, he picked the Crimson Tide over the summer.

His dad played quarterback at Penn State, but the Allure of the perennial National Championship Contender.

Apparently, just to Great South Carolina and Stanford.

Where's other two?

Finalists baseball is a big factor for Lonergan as well.

He will play college baseball.

He doesn't go pro.

He already has a 93 mph, fastball and could be a high round draft pick in the 2023 MLB draft.

He threw for 3,300 yards.

Last season, 32 touchdowns just three.

Exceptions as a junior and added 645 yards on the ground and seven touchdowns Rush a story number five, Middle Georgia.

In the ACC heads to the Mac, big Burly, commits to Clemson's.

At Warner Robins, Clemson has done extremely well in the state of Georgia in this recruiting class.

So stories of Dabo Sweeney's demise as Mark Twain would say are greatly exaggerated, that's because they have 94 star commitments here in the state of Georgia already in the class of 2020 3.

That's your top 5 stories from the offseason.

Get you into the stories for the week and we have some folks who have named their next destinations and yet as the Florida state guy on the show, I have to mention that our first one is not heading to Tallahassee 70 games.

No, that's Woodward Academy four-star, Mi G commits to Florida.

Number two, Junior linebacker in the nation announced that he was committing to his.

Dad's alma mater is Dad is Earnest Graham who was a star running back for the Gators and would go on to play eight seasons in the NFL with the Tampa Bay.

Bucs G is a big get for the Gators.

Not only is he the first for the The Gators in the 2024 class, but also big win for Coach Billy Napier.

He's taken some heat from the fans gave had some big mrs. During the off season 6.

12 12, G chose Florida over 41.

Other offers including Alabama, took official visit to Tuscaloosa the summer as well.

This will be his first season with Woodward.

He played his sophomore season for his dad in Naples Florida at Evangelical, Christian told a 130 tackles and rush for close to 600 yards and 5 touchdowns.

Now I have a player who's a part of the Archer.

Yeah, quarterback.

Justin, Johnson commits to Army this week.

His first season with the Tigers after playing three years at Central Gwinnett throwing for over thirty two hundred yards and 21 touchdowns also rush for 1,000 yards in his career, with the Black Knights takes over as the signal caller for new Archer.

Coach Dante, Williams 511 175.

He's a dual threat quarterback, best when he's on the move, can throw out of the pocket or throw when he's outside the pocket coach Williams, told him, he's taken immediate leadership.

He's got a lot of experience.

He's played in 24 games already entering his senior year year, and army will be a great fit for his skill set.

And the first time I think that we've gotten to mention Miller Grove on recruiting show.

Jeremiah sandiford commits to Tennessee Tech, 62, 260 chose the golden eagles over five other offers including Wofford SEMO Stetson Fordham and Morehouse sandiford was Miller Grove.

And leading tackler on the defensive line in 2021 with 47 stops as a junior Wolverines.

I had to say that that's like when you do, you know, of course the the movie references.

You just kind of drive them in there.

Alright, so we got a game last time I checked.

Yes, we did bottom of the hour.

It's Denmark and Roswell on football Fridays and there's your fancy TV, graphic to show it in.

This is going to be a fun game.

You got Denmark brand new program, just their fifth year of varsity football.

You got Roswell.

They've been playing football for over 70 years.

And and both of them loaded with college football, talent and a great season openers roswell's now playing in 6A.

So let's get into some of the talent that you're going to be hearing on the show a little later on you know, and you'll be able to see starting at the bottom of the hour and we're just going to go ahead and start with Denmark and a man Mountain.

He's come here he's the big, he's the big guys, the mountain of Tennessee, he's 66 3:30 or somewhere around there, chose the Vols over 30 other off.

Hours, including Georgia, LSU and Michigan State took official visits to all four programs.

You might remember when he led the state with eight interceptions as a sophomore had only one last year, playing boundary corner for Roswell using was shut down one side of the field.

So teams, rarely even throw the his vicinity on the football field, they've tinkered with him a little bit at safety.

Maybe get him some more interceptions, big back for the Hornets on offense as well.

Thanks guys, I am now joined by Denmark, offensive lineman and Tennessee, commit sham, you merav before we get to your commitment story, we are so excited to have you on.

I want to learn more about you.

I know you were born in And your family came over from there to the United States, how in the world did you guys end up in Alpharetta Georgia?

So based off of from what they saw back in Russia they thought Georgia.

Look like a nice place and it reminded them of home.

So, as like a family us, we moved here and some of our other family moved there.

So it was nice to get to know a new place both family around.

So it's much easier for us.

Well, now you're the premier offensive tackle in the 2023 class.

How did you get into football?

So it all started to lose weight because I was a little bit heavy and eighth grade and I lost a lot of way my coaches said, shame, you got to continue, you got a bright future in there so I was like, okay, played freshman year, started varsity, my sophomore year and played the route and I just got all this from that.

What is your way in now?

And what's been your process?

I've actually lost a bit of weight.

I've been waiting at 30 but the past couple of days down at 325.

So I'm just going back and forth around that way.

Let's talk recruiting you were recruited by a lot of top schools and you narrowed it down to four Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, Michigan State, the dogs came in hot.

I heard at the very end why did you choose to commit to the Vols man dude there's so much of bottom of that one thing it's just family like the family atmosphere from the coaches fans players and just everyone you meet, there is amazing.

You'll have support in anything you do.

So it Go from Football.

I just wanted to learn something new just because you have so many so much more opportunities there.

It's just the amount of support you have is unbelievable.

I love it.

There you've built a lot of relationships with the coaches and players in your class, including the quarterback.

From 2023.

Tell me about that, man.

So before my official visit, Nico reached out to me and this one just we just talked and we got there.

We all, we all met each other's families and then I got to know Ethan Davis from Collins Hill.

Even more.

So just being the opportunity just to meet people from so many different places, it's just awesome.

And also from my hometown coming up there with you.

So it's just going to be easier for me to just try out these new things with people that are from the same area and my last question for you I hear you're trying to make NFL history.

How is that man?

So far.

It's been great.

You know, I'm on track to get there and I've known that one NFL player.

I am from Russia, but I'm Yes, and he's also to give some trying to be that number 2 and I get there and I just want to just want to be the best just like everyone else.

But I want to beep.

I want to beat the best.

Well, we have no doubt that you're going to be the best sham.

Home stretch for GPB Sports, recruiting 2022, Denmark, and Roswell coming up at the bottom of the hour time to Tour the State, and give you an idea of the top-10 recruiting programs, where all of these colleges we've been talking about here in the first, so 20 plus minutes or so are heading to to get the athletes in the number-three, recruiting state in the country.

So, here's your list.

Buford number one, no shock.

No, not at all.

Grayson number two, no shot number three, Woodward Academy.

That is a little bit of a surprise, but Woodward, X, in at number 3, led by four star defensive lineman, AJ Hoffler committed to Clemson back in June over 51.

Other offers, he's one of nine.

Georgia for stars headed to Clemson so far in the class of 2020.

Three had 21 tfl 11 sacks, three forced fumbles for Woodward.

Last season's of Junior, projects is a five technique defensive lineman.

What that means?

You hear that a lot, what that means is in the defensive linemen, as a tackle, he's gonna line up on the outside of the office.

So right now, keep an eye on AJ Hoffler Woodward Academy number for Creekside the, you know, we've been keeping an eye on Creekside the last handful of years on football Fridays.

And number five, the top-ranked team in 6A.

It Hughes Hughes, and the number one Prospect out of used for Star offensive.

Lineman both uly uly music, seven to ninety committed to the Georgia.

Bulldogs has been since last September Hughley, is the number six Prospect in the state rated the number 12, OT in the nation in the 24/7 Sports composite also the highest rated player in the Langston Hughes senior class, which is also the highest rated senior class number five, overall.

But highest rated senior class in Georgia, Hughley chose the Bulldogs.

Over 21.

Other offers did take an official visit to Athens back in June, but he also took official visits to Nebraskan Auburn as well.

And also took an unofficial to Auburn is well over the summer.

Big reason why Hughes is number one in six of page two.

To North Cobb at number 6, Colquitt at number seven, out of Moultrie.

Number eight takes us to Cedar Grove and their top prospect for Star Corner K and lie.

It one time committed to Georgia lead changed his mind and committed Ohio State over the summer.

Has been clocked at 44 in the 40 multiple times and took official visits to the Buckeyes Nebraska, Oregon back in June, he picked Ohio State over 29 other offers number 21 cornerback in the nation and the 24/7 Sports composite.

Interceptions last year for the 3A state.

Champs two of them in the state championship game that you saw right here on GPB has 10 total int the last two seasons and Lee's Cedar Grove in Bainbridge this week.

Meadowcreek at number nine.

Yeah, they're loaded.

They've got a ton of talent at Meadow Creek for new coach.

Wofford there, we'll see what they can translate that into more than five wins this season and Calvary Day at 3A.

In number 10, jumping up from 18 to 3A will see how they do with that when you got a Gun Slinger, that's when you get to number 10 at Calvary Day.

Alright.

Let's talk about a team-up 316.

Last time, I checked, they like won a championship or something.

Did they're always busy trying to bring in players.

What's the name to pay attention to this week?

Well, let's take a look at what they did over the summer and their number one Prospect in their class Phenix.

City Central five-star AJ Harris.

Number two rated Corner in the nation in the 24/7 Sports rankings.

Also, number two, overall Prospect in the State of Alabama.

He picked the Bulldogs over 36 other offers in June currently the highest rated Prospect in the Georgia 2023 class committed to the Bulldog set, boosted them up from 10 to 5 in the team rankings where they currently sit in the 24/7 sports team rankings.

Now I know this sounds impossible job, it sounds impossible but it is reported that he allowed only one pass reception on his watch lat.

That's impossible.

He had five kick return touchdowns three punt returns to kickoff returns.

There's your list of the top 5, commitments in the summer.

4-star linebacker, Raylan Wilton doubt a Tallahassee.

Jesuit number three, linebacker in the nation.

His father is Tampa Bay.

Bucs head coach, Todd Bowles, him 271 career tackles for Troy and in state for state linebacker, CJ Alan How to Lamar County number nine, rate of Prospect and state number nine linebacker in the nation two-minute warning and we'll find out what's going on here.

Matthew James committing to Georgia, Southern at a Jupiter Florida.

It's all Christian picked the Eagles over.

Five other offers including home state, USF.

Here's an interesting story.

Yeah, he hadn't played football till the since 7th grade came back out in the spring, he's a A basketball player and a meeting.

You can tell the size basketball player speed, long legs, long strides, Matthew James commits to Georgia, some no word on whether Mars or Venus, Christian have football teams this year, either.

This is an under recruited kid, 59, 175 senior rush for 3408 yards on 11, 411 carry so far in the first three season seven and a eight point three yards per carry the math.

There you go, 126 rushing yards per game.

51, total touchdowns 1481 yards last year, 21 touchdowns, hopefully the drags the four straight wins at the end of the regular season and into the first round of the state plane out of the mountain region Rabun County.

County Rabun County quarterback Keegan Stover.

He's the guys going to step up and try to replace Gunner Stockton transfer from West Forsyth and to season.

Starting for the Wolverines Keegan completed, 56 percent of his passes for 3888 yards, forty five touchdowns, just seven interceptions, getting it done this week, and we didn't do it in voice.

So he wouldn't get into trouble.

It is Joshua Dobbs and Malik Willis, they're getting it done on the NFL side, guess what?
