New York has one of the most diverse agricultural industries in the nation, accounting for $6 billion in produce annually and $40 billion from the food supply industry. But with major consumers like schools, universities and restaurants either shut down or severely curtailing the bulk purchases they were making, some farmers have seen a significant drop in their produce prices.
