It's a possible gamechanger: A new COVID-19 drug therapy that could help speed recovery even in mild to moderate cases, and also stop the virus from spreading so easily. It's an antiviral called Molnupiravir, from Merck and Ridgeback Biotherapeutics, now in clinical trials.
