CPS Blames Nationwide Driver Shortage for Bus Problems

Busing issues at Chicago Public Schools. Some rides are as long as 90 minutes.

More than 1,200 students across Chicago Public Schools don't have bus transportation to get to school. This, as hundreds of other students are sitting on more than 90-minute rides to and from school each day. CPS Chief Pedro Martinez spoke at today's first Board of Education meeting of the school year, saying he can relate.
