He was on his way to Australia.
[ Chittering ] No.
We haven't even taken off.
[ George ] Oh!
Here you go, George.
Maybe this will help.
[ Snoring ] [ Muttering ] Sir.
Uh-- Uh-- We're in Sydney.
Ha ha ha!
Oh.
[ Woman ] G'day.
Welcome to the land down under.
I'm your tour guide, Bailey Bungee.
How'd you know it was us?
Recognized you by your monkey.
[ Hooting ] Mum said a monkey would be on the safari, so I begged to come along.
This is my vacation too.
[ Chuckles ] My daughter, Bindi.
And you must be George.
Yeah!
Let's get going.
Your Australian outback safari adventure awaits.
[ George Hooting ] I hope you like animals because you're about to meet a lot of them.
Yeah!
Hee-hee!
[ Hoots ] ♪ We're in the land down under En joy the view ♪ Hey!
♪ We have so many strange animals th at'll amaze you ♪ These are dingoes, wild cousins of man's best friend.
♪ You can meet 'em on the ground or in a tree ♪ [ Yelps ] ♪ I'll bet you make a new buddy Ju st wait and see ♪ [ Snarling ] Uh-- Uh-- [ Grunts ] ♪ So keep your heart wi de open and true ♪ ♪ You'll find a friend sm ilin' back at you ♪ ♪ Thanks, mate ♪ ♪ No worries G' day ♪ ♪ That's the Aussie way ♪ ♪ Ooh, ooh-ooh ♪ Yeah!

Koalas.
♪ There's a brumby over there by a wallaby ♪ ♪ Here's a bird called the emu wh o doesn't fly ♪ It'll dry out and be as good as new.
♪ But he can beat you in a footrace every time ♪ Strangely refreshing.

All the comforts of home.
Even a shower.
[ Laughs ] Oh!
George!
Ooh-ooh!
[ Laughs ] No worries, George.
We get rain six months out of the year.
So the tents are waterproof.
Ooh!
Today was great, but tomorrow's gonna be even better.
We're gonna see my favorite Australian animal, the-- [ Low Humming ] What's that?
Cook.
Why, I've never heard of an animal called a cook.
[ Laughs ] Cook isn't an animal.
Cook's a cook.
[ Humming ] He plays a didgeridoo whenever it's time for dinner.
Wow.
That was neat.
Uh-huh!
[ Man ] Thanks.
That was a great meal.
Why don't you get some shut-eye.
Yes.
You have a big day tomorrow.
Okay.
Okay.
I'll set up our beds.
Okay.
[ Hooting ] [ Gasps ] Ooh.
[ Narrator ] Th ese were the biggest footprints... George had ever seen.
He wondered who or what made them.
Oh, hey.
Everyone else's footprints we nt one in front of the other.
Huh?
But these footprints we re side by side.
Huh?
Ah!
Ah!
And they were re ally far apart.
Ah.
Yah!
Ooh!
Aha.
Ah.
[ Grunting ] The only way yo u could get that far and ke ep your feet side by side... was-- Aha!
by hopping.
Rabbits hopped.
Maybe it was a giant rabbit.
Or-- Cl owns have big footprints.
Maybe it was a hopping clown.
Or maybe it was a giant ho pping clown rabbit.
[ Chuckles ] [ Man ] George, it's bedtime.
Ohh!
[ Birds Chirping ] A bunch of dugongs were sighted off the coast.
Dugongs are Australian sea cows.
Come on.
Let's go, George.
[ Narrator ] Co ws?
That swam in the sea?
That did sound cool.
But a giant clown rabbit so unded even cooler.
[ Chitters ] You wanna stay here?
Are you sure?
Uh-huh.
Okay.
Wait.
Better leave my hat here.
Since you won't be around to get it back for me.
[ Laughs ] Bye, George.
Be a good little monkey.
Bye!
Now to find that giant rabbit.
[ Gasps ] There were th ose footprints again.
Only now the giant clown rabbit ha d a tiny friend.
It looked like th ey'd stopped here for a drink of water, but then-- Aw.
the smaller footprints di sappeared.
[ Gasps ] Could it be?
When clown rabbits drank water, th ey could fly?
Ahh!
[ Grunting ] Huh?
The little one ha d landed again.
Ah.
[ Gasps ] [ Sniffing ] Ah!
Oh!
The footprints weren't made by a hopping clown rabbit.
They were made by a-- a-- Hello!
Whatever this li ttle guy was.
Huh!
They had hopped around so much, th ey were back at camp.
Hopping sure made a monkey thirsty.
[ Chittering ] [ Sighs ] Maybe his friend wa s thirsty too.
If only he had a bowl to feed him with.
It'll dry out and be as good as new.
Ah!
Aha!
George's new friend lo oked cute in the man's hat.
But he couldn't keep it.
Hey!
[ Chittering ] [ Gasps, Yells ] It was the bigger whatever it was.
Oh!
His small friend couldn't fly.
He'd just been getting a ride.
Ah!
George had to get that hat.
Ooh!
[ Hooting ] But his new friends we re too fast.
Hmm.
They were pretty still wh en they were drinking.
But that watering hole wa s too far away.
By the time George got there, th e animals might be gone.
If only he had hi s own watering hole.
[ Gasps ] Yeah!
And then George realized... he did.
[ Chittering ] He just needed someplace to put it.
Ah!
Yeah!
Ah!
And a lot of water to put into it.
He hoped his friends we re thirsty.
[ Hooting ] [ Gasps ] Aha!
Ah!
[ Hooting ] Ah!
Aw!
George was happy to have th e man's hat back, but he was sad hi s new friends ran off.
Ah.
George, you won't believe it.
Sea cows are amazing.
You wanna see?
Yeah.
Uh-huh.
Huh?
[ Narrator ] Se a cow?
That didn't look anything li ke a cow.
George, what happened to the rain cover on the tent?
Uh-- Well-- Uh-oh.
No worries, mate.
Yeah.
Long day.
[ Toy Duck Squeaks ] I could use a nice bath.
[ Laughing ] There you go.
[ Both Laughing ] Hmm.
[ Both Laughing ] Oh, this day just keeps getting better.
Turn around and I'll show you my favorite Australian animal.
Aha!
His friends were back.
Those are kangaroos.
So that's wh at they were called.
They really like to eat grass.
Just put it on the ground right beside you.
And that's wh en George decided... kangaroos were his favorite Au stralian animal too.
