Michael Farrantino was recently named MSU hockey team captain for the 2014-2015 season. The native of Plymouth, Michigan, played all 42 Spartan games during his freshman year at MSU. Before coming to MSU, Farrantino played in the U.S. Hockey League for the Omaha Lancers.
