Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorship- You know, I do feel like the door in Hollywood is being opened a little bit more.
Definitely more than in the past.
You know, there have been some deaf superheroes popping up in feature films.
There have been a couple of deaf characters on ongoing series, but, you know, in the past, deaf people would show up for maybe one or two episodes and that would be it.
And I would hope that from this point going forward that we see deaf actors who are just cast in ongoing roles, like larger roles.
Hollywood, I think, should see us as actors, not as deaf actors, but we're just actors and I would like to bring that energy, that professionalism to any role that we can do.
