So many people are moving to North Carolina who don't know anything about this state, and if they can find us on PBS North Carolina or online, they can learn all about our state and all the wonderful things it has to offer and our unique culture and our foods and our heritage.
Probably not a week goes by where I don't hear from a viewer or a place that we featured on "North Carolina Weekend" where they don't say, "Hey, there was a line to get in our restaurant," or, "The phone rang off the hook at our inn," y'know, "And thank you so much for showing us to the state and to the world."
I think what keeps everybody here at PBS North Carolina, because there are a lot of lifers here or people who've dedicated their whole lives to this place, is the mission, and the mission is to bring enriching media content to people's lives.
