#### Governor Beshear says Kentuckians in 14 counties who've lost their jobs, because of recent storms, are eligible for disaster unemployment benefits.

The Associated Press says that includes farmers and the self-employed.

The deadline to apply is January 18th.

#### Attorney General Daniel Cameron's Search Warrant Task Force is recommending eight changes to the search warrant process.

Among them: notifying child services if serving a warrant could affect a child, and requiring police to consider the time of day before trying to execute a warrant.

#### Louisville has its first reported case of the COVID omicron variant.

The Courier Journal says it's a 26-year-old woman who'd received her vaccinations but did not have a booster shot.

The newspaper says the woman has mild symptoms.
