Governor Beshear says Kentucky's case numbers are stable, compared to other states, but he expects cases to increase quickly as the omicron variant continues to spread.

#### The state says the federal government has added Marion County to Kentucky's disaster declaration list - meaning people there can now apply for FEMA help.
Sixteen counties are now on the list after the December 10th tornadoes.
#### State Senator Matt Castlen - a Republican from Owensboro - says he will not run for reelection in 2022.
Castlen says he has three children and he needs to make them his priority.
He says he looks forward to serving Kentucky in the future.
