#### Governor Beshear today announced steps to attract and keep social workers, at a time when the state is about 600 short.
The governor says all social workers and family support staff will get a 10 percent raise starting December 16th.
That money is in the current budget.
#### He also plans a pilot program, allowing social workers to be hired quickly.
And he wants the state to forgive student loans to social workers.
#### Kentucky reports 70 COVID deaths today, and more than three-thousand new cases.
