Wow, it's been a wonderful night, and I'm sure you will agree, and I hope that it has lifted you up because, listen, when you get lifted up, it makes it worth the while for people like the Violet Maynard Family to travel from Tennessee to come and share with the great state of Alabama and all of our beautiful residents.
And you are some beautiful people.
I wanna encourage you this week as you come and go, starting right now, to be a little bit more tender, a little kinder, a little bit more patient.
You got it in you.
Let it come out, and it'll be beautiful, okay?
Do that; this is your assignment.
And you have one job to do, and that's it, and I know you're gonna accomplish it.
In the meantime, we're getting ready to go.
Violet Maynard Family, we do something at Alabama Gospel Roots, and it takes your participation to make it work, okay?
- Okay.
- So get the mic up.
I want you to follow after me.
Now, what I say, you say.
Now, say it slow.
