I'm your host, Todd Gutner.
We have 16 schools competing to be the season seven champion and take home that a thousand dollar grand prize for their schools project graduation.
In our second match, we have two quiz show veteran schools who are each looking for their first championship.
But only one, only one, is gonna have that chance.
The Rams of Deering High School in Portland are making their third appearance and they're looking to beat out North Yarmouth Academy in their fourth appearance on the show.
Let's get things going by meeting the teams.
For Deering, we have Violet, Asa, Emma, and Kauther with alternates, Tim and Zoe, and they're coached by Kyle Davenport.
And for North Yarmouth Academy we have Genevieve, Hadley, Olivia, and Alex with alternates, Eva and Chloe, and they're coached by Jennifer Makayla.
The competition, of course, has three rounds, the tossup round, the category round, and that fun lightning round.
We'll start with the tossup round.
All answers are worth 10 points, and this is the only round with no point deductions for wrong answers.
