Our hamburgers are doing more damage to the environment than cars, trucks, buses and trains combined. Companies like Beyond Meat are putting a lot of work into pulling all the nutrients, flavors and consistency of conventional meat products from plant-based sources. As more meat-eaters consider altering their diets, eateries are helping customers dip their toe into vegan food.
