Being born and raised in New York City, the 2001 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center hit close to home for Rhode Island Poet Laureate Tina Cane. Cane shares her experience seeing the scene from her fire escape in Brooklyn and reads her poem “Designated New Yorker.”
