Dr. Richard Jackson, host of the PBS series Designing Healthy Communities, talks with host Marcia Franklin about the ways in which the built environment can negatively affect our health, and why as a physician he’s so concerned. A pediatrician, Jackson is a professor at the Fielding School of Public Health at UCLA. He was the director of the CDCs National Center for Environmental Health.
