Dick Tracy is after a gang of bank robbers led by the menacing Gruesome (Boris Karloff).
A gang of criminals, led by the menacing ‘Gruesome’ (Boris Karloff), has found out about a scientist's secret formula for a paralyzing gas that knocks out whoever breathes it. When the criminals later use the gas to rob a bank, the dashing Dick Tracy (Ralph Byrd) is on the case to apprehend the gang.
