A push to get more people online and what new data reveals about internet disparities.

There’s a renewed effort to get more people online and bring high-speed internet to more families across the country. The Biden administration is announcing a federal program that could make tens of millions of households eligible for free internet. The move comes as the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted inequities in internet access as families switched to remote working and learning.
