President Donald Trump has tapped Sen. Doug Steinhardt (R-Warren) to serve as the next U.S. Attorney for New Jersey. The 56-year-old former mayor from Warren County also served as chairman of the state Republican Party during President Trump’s 2020 reelection campaign.
