I, I love it.
It's like making me feel like it's a new medium.
The reason that I even reached out to these people that I knew was because I myself needed other people to create with.
I needed some community people who can engage with one another and inspire each other.
Nash illustrators, we are a group of illustrators.
Whether we're working or kind of aspiring, we meet for critiques.
We meet for different kind of field trips that we do, but ultimately our goal is to form more of a community in the area and have each other as inspiration for the path that we're on.
Firstly, it's just having other creative people to make art with.
It's very isolating occupation.
We're all spending a lot of time at home drawing by ourselves, so just having other people around you that are on the same path is really encouraging serious, creative people.
I don't know if you can put those two words next to each other, but, - So I joined the group and I really wanted to get some critique on my work and also get some feedback on the process and just get some inspiration.
When I started my business in 2024, I was just on my own.
I'm just a single creator.
If I wanted to really grow, I needed to get some other opinions 'cause I just felt like I was in a bubble.
It means a lot.
It's been such an important part of my, my artistic journey now that we've seen so many more members join us, it's, it's incredible to see like more of a range people of all the different levels.
We have folks who are just graduating from college, other folks who are, have been in in the industry for a long time.
I think that's been one of the really key features of this group is that there's not really any one type of illustrator that joins us.
