Yorel Lashley founded Drum Power to connect his two passions of drumming and teaching.

Yorel Lashley founded Drum Power as a way to connect his two passions of African drumming and teaching young people. Drum Power teaches children leadership, discipline and community through his programs in schools and his summer Drum and Dance Camp. The goal of Drum Power is to unlock children’s abilities to discover passions for something and learning how to do it.
