Twin Portals is a fifth edition Dungeons and Dragons podcast.
So what we do is we get together once a month or so and we just play a game of Dungeons and Dragons with the assistance of a whole lot of sound gear.
It started in 2018, started with a test trial of a omnidirectional mic that I had and a laptop that was a hand-me-down from my sister which we still use today as a backup system.
If you want to get in the middle, I am a barbarian.
I take all the hits and sometimes I adjust the sound during the podcast.
I am a recipients of one grants from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council and two grants so far from the Minnesota State Arts Board.
And with that funding I have advanced our equipment at each grant has been small equipment purchases and then I'm now able to pay the players in the dam for their time.
It's another form of art.
This is this is just theater, essentially.
It's Improvizational storytelling.
We all collaborate together to create this one story.
We don't have to charge tickets.
We can have people walk in.
I am so very happy that we've gotten so much support.
The city of Duluth and the surrounding area have been very great.
