DuSable Museum Gets New Name, New Look

The historic DuSable Museum gets a name change. Why it's adding "education" to the title.

It’s now the DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center. That’s changed from “The DuSable Museum of African American History”. Museum leaders unveiled the rebranding at a Juneteenth celebration last weekend. The Hyde Park center was founded in 1961 and is the oldest independent Black history museum in the U.S.
