We started playing music, in a Bossa Nova band.
And, Max had a jazz trio, and I started sitting in, and I, I really loved, Bossa Nova and singing in Portuguese.
And, so we just kind of started doing that, and we became a Bossa Nova band, and, then gradually we started adding some original music and, and then we became this, Max Hatt and Edda Glass.
I always say when you when you put a vocal in a band, you can't go back to, it's hard to go back to instrumental music because it's so much more accessible.
All of our original music starts as solo guitar pieces.
I write lyrics often times in the car when we're driving around Montana.
You know, you look out the window and you kind of have this frame that's kind of panning across this mountainous landscape.
it's been a privilege to to write lyrics for his songs and to be able to sing them.
And it's, it's kind of cool how they turn into something else.
But they still, for me, retain a lot of what, you know, the feeling of the instrumental ones.
