Corrections officer arrested for alleged sexual assault on inmate on Sept. 16
New Jersey's long-troubled Edna Mahan women’s prison is once again in the spotlight. Nine months after a scandal led Gov. Phil Murphy to promise he would implement major reforms and ultimately close the facility, a corrections officer at the prison has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting an inmate on Sept. 16.
