The Richmond based University ranked in four categories in the 2024 best colleges by U.S. News and World Report.
Those categories were nursing top public schools, national universities and social mobility.
EKU president David McFadden tells WVXU Public Radio that the recognition is appreciated.
He says they want to be competitive, but it is important to remain focused on recruiting students from the region.
