Native Report visited the 1854 Treaty Authority in Duluth...

Native Report visited the 1854 Treaty Authority in Duluth this fall to learn more about the agency and join them for some very important work. We tagged along as they conducted electrofishing surveys at night on Cadotte Lake in northern Minnesota. They’re out under the night's sky annually in the spring and fall to look for young walleye (ogaa, walleye in Ojibwe) to gauge reproductive success.
