- I am not playing around today.
I wanna keep them nervous.
I wanna keep them on their toes.
Dan: Elizabeth's family grew with the discovery of her little brother, JJ.
Elizabeth: It's so nice to meet you!
Dan: Team Blue received their second strike.
Anthony: We're still not out yet.
We know where we went wrong today.
Dan: But in the process, they found their Aunt Joyce.
Anthony: I loved it, every bit of it.
Dan: And saw a picture of their mother for the very first time.
Joseph: Anthony and I have been waiting our whole lives to see her.
I don't really have the words, I'm speechless.
Dan: DNA tells us who we are and where we came from.
Following their own DNA, four teams are racing-- Sean: Come on!
Elizabeth: Let's go, let's go!
- Ahhh!
Dan: To win $50,000-- - Yes!
Dan: And to find their family.
[knocking] ♪ ♪ Dan: It's Day 6 of Relative Race and all four teams are carrying the burden of at least one strike.
Team Blue is the only team with two strikes.
For the twins, the threat of potentially going home is now more real than ever.
Joseph: Getting our second strike yesterday just made it really real for us.
We have to give it 150 percent from here on out.
Sean: We're feeling pretty good today.
We just got a win last night, so we got five minutes of GPS today.
- And hopefully with that GPS, it'll give us the advantage.
Devin: Look, I'm tired of being at the bottom of the barrel.
We've either been in third or last every single day of this race.
That stops today; we're getting first place from here on out.
Monika: We're not going anywhere but Day 10.
We're gonna bring home the family and the money.
[marker writing noise] ♪ Dan: In Kissimmee, Florida, Team Blue is learning more about their family's lineage from their Aunt Joyce.
- There's a few things that I wanted to share with you guys that I thought you might appreciate.
- Oh, thanks.
Joyce: That is my father.
Joseph: We've never really had that experience of just, "Hey, this is grandpa."
You know, six days ago I had no idea that I even had a grandpa.
And so, just to see him and to see him all dapper in his uniform, it was just, it was wonderful.
♪ Dan: Before leaving Des Moines, Iowa, Monika shares some of her past with her newly found sister, Krystal.
Krystal: I'm so curious to know more about you and how you were raised and about your experiences in your life.
- I brought a photo album just to give you a better idea-- - I'm excited.
Monika: So, you can start with this.
Krystal: Okay.
You ready?
These are my parents!
- Those are your parents!
Monika: Little, like, '80s style going on, but those are my parents.
Krystal: I love it!
Monika: Mom, Dad, me.
Krystal: And look how happy you are!
Monika: Look at--they're, like, just absolutely doting.
- They're perfect.
They are.
They love you.
- Mm-hm.
I think it was really healing for both of us to be able to sit down and look at these pictures because she didn't really know what kind of home I went into and to show her that I went into a really loving home was awesome and rewarding for both of us.
♪ [zing] Dan: In Granville, Ohio, Team Black spent their night out in a tent.
Sean: But, that was pretty good last night.
It was, uh, definitely fun being out under the stars.
Kacey: We just blended right in with the family and the kids loved us and you would never know that I wasn't part of this family for the last 30 years.
[zip] Sean: We're feeling pretty good today with the first place prize.
- Oh yeah!
We're, we're planning on using it, you know, as soon as we're done with the challenge to help us with getting to our relative and we're pretty sure that's gonna help us, uh, get the benefit today.
[calm music] - As much as I want to spend more time with my brother, JJ, we really gotta flip the switch today and get into game mode and turn it all the way up, so we can go home with that W. We've either been third or last every single day of this race; that stops today.
[upbeat music] [phone dinging] - Liz, Liz, Liz!
I think I got a text from Dan.
Elizabeth: Oh shoot!
[music intensifies] - We got a text.
- What?!?!
Come over here!
Come here, come here, come here!
Magen: Okay, okay, okay, okay.
- Good morning teams and welcome to Day 6 of Relative Race.
- Team Red will be traveling to Charleston, West Virginia-- - All right!
- Team Blue will be traveling to Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida.
- Team Black will be traveling to Cedarville, Ohio.
- And Team Green will be traveling to Unionville, Missouri!
- Today's first place prize is immunity.
- Is immunity.
- Immunity?
Magen: Your time starts now.
Monika: Ahhh!
- Oh my gosh!
Do you know how to get there?!?!
♪ Elizabeth: Thank you so much.
I appreciate it.
- Okay, we gotta go!

Krystal: At the stop sign, take a left.
Magen: Left.
Joyce: I love you guys.
Joseph and Anthony: Love you too!
[suitcases rumbling] Joyce: Good luck.

Sean: Okay, we're off!
♪ [vroom] ♪ [zing] ♪ Monika: I'm feeling good about this.
- Okay, just keep cruisin', just keep cruisin'.
Sean: Just go straight out here, take a left on 13.

Elizabeth: Oh!

- Found it?
Elizabeth: Yeah.

Anthony: So, we're gonna go straight for six lights?
- Yep.
Yes sir.
- All righty!
♪ Dan: All four teams are on the road, racing to meet new family.
Team Red is departing from Morgantown, West Virginia and heading to Charleston, West Virginia.
They have the longest allotted time of the day at 2 hours and 43 minutes.
♪ - Good morning everybody!
Team Red here.
Of course, as you know, I've got my kids on the dash.
That's my motivation, that's our heartbeats.
It's just been such an awesome journey, just to connect.
And one of the things between Angelica and JJ and I that we, we all talked about was how, you know, we're, we're biracial and how that has helped shape our identity.
But, the fact that we all have the shared experience is something we've definitely bonded over and I'm glad that we could connect about that.
I started an organization called Family Remixed to help build community for interracial families and/or adopted families, with a specific focus on the children who grow up in those dynamics because identity is extremely important and I think one of the biggest things for me was knowing that there were other people like myself, you know, out there.
As a biracial person, identity and acceptance is so important.
So, to meet even more of my biological family, the Willis family, and to finally have that connection to my black roots is everything to me right now.
- You know, I'm feeling good about where we're headed this morning, we've got a good game plan already on our way and, uh, looking forward to getting that first W. - Absolutely.

Monika: Since Team Black decided not to respond yesterday, we decided just to text Team Red and Team Blue.
[dinging] Elizabeth: Oh!
Anthony: What'd Team Green say?
- [laughing] - Wow, man.
I know that's right.
[laughing] Elizabeth: Listen, I... - Rally, we've gotta rally.
- ...hear that.
- It says... - Wooo!
Dan: Continuing to stir the pot, Team Green is departing from Des Moines, Iowa and heading to Unionville, Missouri.
Their allotted time for the day is 1 hour and 52 minutes.
- We formed an alliance.
[both laughing] - [laughing] We formed an aliiance.
[laughs] Don't ya love it?
[zing] Kacey: Playtime's over.
- Yeah, now we're, we're-- - We can make friends with them at the end-- - We're in the second half now, so it's, it's game time.
- It started off with Team Green giving us that penalty two days ago, but you know what?
We're ready for payback.
We're getting that immunity.
It really worked yesterday, so guess what?
That paint is coming back on.
Dan: Putting their game face on and departing from Granville, Ohio, Team Black is heading to Cedarville, Ohio.
Their allotted time for the day is 1 hour and 54 minutes.
- Okay.
- Notice how black is above the green.
[intense music] [zing] - You know, the other teams, they've probably driven around the country a bunch of times.
This is all new to us.
- Seeing how we've used public transportation for a majority of our lives, navigating with a map and driving around is challenging.
Anthony: And, we don't even own a car, so yeah, we're at a disadvantage, but we're going to keep fighting.
Dan: Feeling the pressure of two strikes and a disadvantage due to their inexperience of driving, Team Blue is departing from Kissimmee, Florida and heading to Howey-In-The-Hills, Florida.
They have an allotted time of 1 hour and 57 minutes.
I wanna get over-- under 5 minutes.
So, we've gotta make up time, you know Joe?
- Yeah, I know.
- And I just, ugh, we gotta-- I need a donut.
[fairy tale music] Mmm.

[laughing] Dan: As the teams draw closer to their destination cities, their focus shifts into high gear while they look for a city sign.

Anthony: We're good.
[intense music] Kacey: Get it ready, get it ready.
Elizabeth: The light, we got the light, we got the light.
Devin: Yep.
Monika: Here we go.
Okay, I'm gonna give this to you, I'm gonna get you teed up.

Elizabeth: Hold it.

Kacey: Perfect.
Elizabeth: Up like this.

Monika: Ahhh!

Anthony: Let's go.
Joseph: All right, let's go.

[intense music] Dan: With their selfies now sent, all four teams must now complete their daily challenge.
Sean: Let's go, let's go, let's go!
♪ - Open wide.
Dan: Day 6 challenge is... Players wear dental mouth pieces and read random phrases out loud to their teammate.
Their teammate has 30 seconds to repeat the phrase back, verbatim, before the timer expires.
After five correct answers, players swap positions.
Ten correct answers completes this challenge.
The allotted time for... is six minutes.
- Big hirate duty.
- Uh, the hairy pirate duty?

Joseph: He looks completely ridiculous.
[laughs] - Harried tirate duty.

[buzzer] Kacey: Okay.

We were able to get through the first few cards pretty quickly.
So then we switched and I'm in the chair and again, I struggled a little bit more with the mouthpiece.

I wasn't able to enunciate as clearly as Devin was.

[buzzer] Any phrase that had the letter B, the letter P, was, um, especially challenging.

- Ugh!
- Mommy birthed her third?
- Yes!
[ding] Magen: We crushed the first half.
She was guessing exactly what I was saying.
- The he's were laura.
- The teas were longerya.
She was doing such a great job.
I just didn't know what she was saying.

[buzzer] Monika: Go.

♪ Sean: Okay, yep.

[ding] - Sometimes when you sing you can actually get a little bit different sound out of your voice.
We tried to use that to get around the, uh, spacers.

[ding] It took us, you know, a little-- a few more cards to actually, like, get the roll, but once we got it, we just kind of like sped right through it.

Elizabeth: Yes!

[deep breath] We get to use our five minutes of real GPS today.
Too bad for the other teams.
So, I want you to turn right onto 5 South and I'mma quickly put the GPS in if you can just bear with me, okay?
Devin: So, are we going in the right direction right now?
Elizabeth: Wait, just slow, slow, slow.
Hey-- - There's somebody, there's-- - Hi guys!
We're looking for 64 West.
Man 1: [indistinct] Elizabeth: Turn right?
Perfect.
Thank you!
- First traffic light, turn left.
Elizabeth: Okay, school bus garage, turn right.
- Yep.
- Next light turn left.
- Yep.
[zing] Dan: With their first place victory, Team Black has traded in their wilderness GPS for a real GPS, but only for five minutes, and they cannot write down any of the directions.
Kacey: Did you find it?
Sean: There we go.
Kacey: How far away is it?
- It's 13 minutes away.
- Well, why don't you get out the camera and take a picture of the turn-by-turn.
Dan said that we couldn't write down the directions on our GPS, but he never said we couldn't take a picture.

[zing] [intense music] Magen: Okay, okay, just keep going.

[music abruptly cuts] Dan: Racing to meet new family, all four teams are quickly approaching the homes of their relatives.

- Yeah.
Kacey: That was easy enough.
Sean: Turn left.

Sean: It's gotta be one of these right here.

- I'm related to you, Kacey.

- I'm your sister on your mother's side.

I am from Xenia, Ohio, and I'm Kacey's sister.
Whenever I thought about possibly meeting Kacey, I never imagined it happening in this way, but I'm not sorry.
I'm very happy that it happened this way 'cause it was meant to happen.

[laughing] - My adoptive mother had mentioned that our mom gave me up for adoption and then like three years later, had another girl.
And so, my whole life, I was like, "I've always wanted a sister."
And, you know, obviously I was like, "Well, why didn't she keep me and kept you?"
But, obviously it doesn't matter 'cause I have a little sister.
Robin: Yeah.
[both laughing] - I'm so happy, I'm like, ugh.
- I know, right?
- I'm a disaster.
So... - You also have a younger brother.
- I do!?!?
- Really!?!?
Robin: Yes, uh, he's Christopher and I'm Robin, so we are-- Kacey and Robin: Christopher Robin.
- Like from Winnie the Pooh?

- That's awesome!
- I loved Winnie the Pooh when I was a kid.
That's so funny.
- He hated it growing up.
We were like, "We're the Pooh kids!"

- I also have a little brother that she kept as well.
And so, even though a lot of my questions are being answered, I now have more questions and I'm really hoping to be able to fill those in.

When I met my birth dad, Jerome, on Day 2, he told me about Mary Louise and how he was so close to her and his cousin, Sheila, growing up.
And how she's the matriarch of the family now.
- Jerry and I grew up together as little kids-- we sat right here all the time.
Elizabeth: Yeah.
Devin: That's why he's always "Jerry" to you.
- Well, he's always been Jerry to everybody!
I mean, this Jerome thing-- [everybody laughs] --is-- that was just a birth name, but he's always been Jerry!
- He's grown now.
- Yeah, he's grown because now he wants me to call him Jerome.
- I learned my birth dad's nickname was Jerry growing up, which is interesting.
And, I remembered him telling me that it was Aunt Mary Louise's DNA that actually connected me to the rest of the Willis family, which is amazing.
- So, from what I hear, all of these connections were able to have happen because of you.
Mary Louise: Yes.
- And how we're connected.
- Right.
Elizabeth: And who you're all connected to.
- Everybody's kin to somebody here, somewhere along the line, but yeah, we're real close.
- This whole area basically is kin people.
Elizabeth: Oh, really?
Mary Louise: Yes, it is.
- Wow.
Sheila: I looked at Elizabeth; she looked like the rest of my nieces.
She has so many features like the rest of 'em.
It was touching for my mom to see her, and she's been excited all week, you know, just to meet 'er.
- Would you like to go and see the family church?
Elizabeth: We have a church?
Uh, yes please!

- I'm actually your first cousin on your mother's side.
Anthony: Man.

Automatically, I can tell that they were hers.
For me, it was very emotional because I never met them before, and it was something very deep inside me that wanted to.
It's nice to see you guys.

It's good to finally meet ya.
Monika: [sniffs] I know who you are, of course.
Kyle: Yes.
Monika: I saw your pictures on the wall at Krystal's.
- Good.
Monika: Yesterday, at my sister Krystal's house, I saw a picture of our brother Kyle on her wall, and so when we pulled up today, I knew exactly who he was.
- We have so much to catch up on.
Monika: I know, I'm excited.
♪ Kyle: It's been a while.
Monika: I know, give me another hug.
Kyle: Okay.
Monika: Yay!
Magen: [laughs] Monika: More sisters!
Kyle: I love my sisters.
Monika: Good.
- Seeing Monika for the first time was... words can't describe it.
There's so many unknowns that I didn't know, and, uh... now we can start this journey together.
I have, uh, my fiancée, and... my little, uh, girl Emery for you to meet.
Monika: You've got a baby in there?
Kyle: Yes.
Monika: [squeals] A baby!
Kyle: Marian, I have somebody for you to meet.
Monika: He's so cute, oh my gosh.
I can't!
Your whole family is so beautiful, hi!
Marian: Hi!
Monika: How are you?
Magen: Hey, Monika, someone's tryin' to get in this group hug.
Monika: Hi!

Kyle: Introducing Monika to my family was something I never thought I'd be able to do.
I didn't ever dream that I would meet you and I'm, I'm so glad I did.
Monika: Me too.

Marian: Only good feelings.
Monika: You guys are like, the best family.
Like, everyone I've met so far and you guys.
- We're a good family.
I think.
- I think.
Marian: We're a lot of fun.
Kyle: Yep.
Monika: You are.
[laughs] Dan: All of our teams are clocked in and are now meeting with newfound families.
In Cedarville, Ohio, Kacey on Team Black is receiving answers to questions that she's had her entire life.
Robin: This is a box my mom had given me, um, a little while ago to kinda contain photos and whatnot, and, I wanted to share with you... this is my mom.
My mom, your mother as well, yes.
Kacey: Looking at my biological mother for the first time was a little surreal.
Well, first off, what is our mother's name?
- Rachel.
Kacey: Rachel.
Robin: Rachel Renee.
Kacey: Rachel Renee, okay.
Robin: Although she hates that middle name.
[laughter] I think it's beautiful!
Kacey: When did you find out that you had a... older sister?
Robin: I was in, like, sixth or seventh grade.
I was going through these boxes, and they had, like, personal photos and mementos and things like that, and I found a letter that said: "Kacey's well-adjusted.
Is just a very, very happy child."
And I went to my mom, and I'm like, who's Kacey?
And she just broke down in tears, like, it was one of the hardest things in her life to go through.
♪ Kacey: I was adopted by Randy and Irene Canban when I was nine months old.
I definitely wanna ask my mother why.
That closure is something that I've always kind of craved.
Were you too young, were you not equipped enough, you know, or did you just plain not want me?
And that's okay if she didn't want me.
That's fine.
And I always kind of was like, well, you know, did she just not want me?
Like, you know, that kind of thing.
- If there's anything I get from my mother, it's that she fought tooth and nail to keep hold of you, and it was devastating for her... Kacey: Yeah.
Robin: Um, to make that decision to let you go.
Kacey: Robin actually kind of shared with me that my mom was in a bad spot, and it just wasn't in the cards for her to, you know, keep me, and so, finally, [emotionally] she made a very selfless decision to let me go, and I'm not angry about that, um, at all, and I'll probably thank her for, um, for her sacrifice to give me a better life.
♪ Dan: In Charleston, West Virginia, Elizabeth is making her way to the Willis family church.
Elizabeth: My great-aunt Mary Louise and my aunt Sheila invited me to come see the family church where the Willises have been coming to worship for a very long time.
- We tried to explain to them how it has been in our family ever since I was little.
This door right here, y'all.
Go in.
[cheering] [cheering continues] Devin: That's so cool.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Elizabeth: As I'm, like, trying to take it all in, my eyes blurry with tears, I see signs that say "Welcome to the Willis Family," and, you know, "Go Devin and Liz," "Go Team Red," and I was just so, like, so overwhelmed with gratitude that these, that all of these individuals sincerely just show love, like there was nothing but warmth and love in that room.
Devin: Yeah.
Woman 1: We love you!
Elizabeth: [sobs] Sheila: Want me to introduce her to everybody?
Woman 2: Yes, we do.
Sheila: Brenda, cousin.
- Okay, hi, nice to meet you.
Brenda: Hug to you, too.
She just fell right into place and opened us up also with open arms.
Sheila: Jerry's brother, Jeff, Uncle Jeff.
Elizabeth: Hi!
[laughs] Jeff: Just the love and acceptance that we tried to show her, and she definitely had for us was incredible.
Devin: Hi, sir.
Pleasure.
Elizabeth: I'm standing there, and I'm meeting, you know, all of these aunts and uncles and cousins, and, and then all of a sudden I hear, you know, this noise behind me, and I turn around... [prolonged scream] ♪ Elizabeth: Yay!
And then in walk, you know, my dad, Jerome, my sister Angelica, my two nieces, my brother, JJ, and I was just, like, aah!
I was so excited that they were here, too.
I couldn't imagine this moment without them.
[crying] Devin: You okay?
♪ [sobbing continues] Elizabeth: It's just so beautiful, that you're just, like... Devin: That's what family does.
Jerome: It was amazing, and to be able to share her with the family just felt so wonderful.
I wanted her to feel the love that I felt all my life growin' up.
- Oh my gosh.
This is, everybody, thank you so much, like this is just so, so beautiful.
Like, this is just more than anything I could've hoped for, and... and like, to see y'all, and to like hear the history and like, just the love that's here is just... [sniffs] I just, ah, I can't, I'm so speechless.
Angelica: Oh, we love you!
Elizabeth: And that's hard to do.
[laughter] Devin: You said it.
[laughter] Elizabeth: That's hard to do.
Oh my gosh.
Angelica: Oh my goodness.
♪ Dan: While family and faith have been combined for Team Red, Team Blue continues to have more questions.
Anthony: Do you have any memories of us?
Travis: Actually, I don't.
I remember your mother, my aunt, had five of y'all in total.
So it's Amber, Michael, you two, and then Daniel.
Anthony: And Daniel.
Joseph: Wow.
Anthony: I, and-- Travis: That's five.
Anthony: That's news to me, like, that's, this is, this today is, like, the first time we actually were able to fully piece that together, so thank you.
Travis: Right, oh yeah, yeah.
Absolutely, for sure.
Anthony: That's, like, awesome.
Our cousin Travis starts to talk about our siblings, and I notice that it was like, a full picture, and I was like, whoa, whoa, hold on, let's just, let's talk about that, 'cause Joe and I didn't know too much about our siblings like that.
What do you know of Amber and Michael?
- Amber and Michael, um, I know Michael is the oldest.
I think he's my age.
Anthony: Knowin' that we have brothers and sisters out there is... incredible, 'cause I, I just for so long have been wondering who else is out there.
What other brothers and sisters do Joe and I have?
And to finally hear that meant so much to me.
It meant a lot.
I'm hoping we can develop a really special, long-lasting bond with them.
♪ Anthony: Yeah.
Travis: Love, man.
Joseph: Yeah.
Travis: Definitely good to see you guys.
Joseph: Yeah, good to see you too, man.
♪ Monika: This whole thing is so awesome.
I'm glad to add to the family, and... [deep inhale] I've never had any of this, so I'm excited also to have nieces and nephews to spoil, so... Kyle: Yes, there's, uh, there's... plenty of 'em, and, uh... Monika: [chuclkling] Plenty of 'em.
- four sisters now I can say I have, so... that's addin' one more and I'm glad to do it.
Monika: That's awesome.
I could tell he was a little reserved, but I saw that he did get a little bit emotional, and I know that he, it meant a lot for me to be here.
- Mom always referred to you as, as Baby Girl, and it's just this big question mark, and to fill that in is, is really neat.
Being able to spend time with Monika today has been a blessing.
I just didn't know I would ever meet her.
I did...
I didn't expect that.
I wish we coulda been family for the last... Monika: Forever.
- ...30 years, but, um... Monika: We have a lotta time now.
Kyle: Yes, yes, we have plenty of time to catch up and make new stories.
Monika: Yeah.
Kyle: I know everybody loves ya, and I love ya.
Monika: Thanks, Kyle.

♪ Dan: In Cedarville, Ohio, Kacey's continuing to find out that the arts run deep in her family.
Kacey: Tell me a little bit about yourself, like, what are you interested in, what do you like to do?
Robin: Well, um, in high school, I really loved theater.
Uh... - Yeah?
Robin: Yeah, I was, um, a little too shy to get on the stage, so I was understudy or stage manager for most of it, and tech crew and stuff like that.
Kacey: I love theater, I love performing, I love acting, music, anything like that, I'm all about it.
- So, because of our love of theater, I would love to take you guys on a tour of the Murphy Theater-- Sean: Awesome.
Robin: --which is, um, one of the most famous-- Kacey: Yeah.
Robin: --theaters in Ohio.
Sean: Yeah, that is so cool.
Robin: Does that sound like a plan?
- That sounds like a great plan.
Kacey: Yes, please, please, please, let's go.
Yeah.
Sean: Awesome.
Kacey: [gasps] Sean: There it is.
Kacey: Oh, yeah!
[musical theater overture plays] Sean: This place is pretty freakin' cool.
Look at that.
Robin: The Murphy Theater is one of the oldest in Ohio.
It's 102 years old.
Kacey: Oh my gosh!
Sean: Wow, that is so cool!
♪ - I really wanted to take Kacey and Sean to the Murphy Theater because I thought it would be the perfect place for them to kind of, uh, see.
It's extremely old and beautiful, and has so much history.
Kacey: Oh my goodness.
It's just gorgeous.
Took my breath away.
This is my happy place.
Robin: Ah!
[laughs] Kacey: Exactly.
Robin: When I first found out about you, I kind of wrote a letter.
I was around 11 or 12, and, um, I really wanted to know my sister.
And if you don't mind me reading it, I... - I might cry, but... [laughs] Sean: Guaranteed.
[laughs] Robin: "Dear Kacey, today is my birthday, "and I was looking through some of Mom's boxes "even though I'm not allowed, "and I found a letter mixed with my old cards.
"I asked Mom about it, and it made her sad.
"I wish I could grow up with you.
"I just have my stinky younger brother.
"I have so many questions.
I'm mostly happy, I just wish I could meet you."
- [emotionally] All I ever wanted was a little sister.
[sniffing] And, um... and so reading that letter just kinda brought me back to, uh, to all the questions that I had.
You know, I always would wonder, I was like, does even she know I exist, um...
I wonder if she loves me, or what she looks like, or, you know, if she's happy.
- "Mom said I would understand when I'm older "why you didn't grow up with me, "but I pray we can meet one day.
Love, from your sister, Robin."
Kacey: I thought about you a lot, so... [sniffs] I really did.
Robin: [laughs] Kacey: [emotionally] I'm so grateful-- [sniffs] --that this show brought us together.
[sniffs] [crying] Um, so that we can, you know, spend the rest of, you know, our adult years together, and, uh, make up for all that lost time.
[sniffs] Robin: Obviously, I don't want you to cry and sing at the same time-- Kacey: Oh, I cry all the time, it's fine.
Robin: Sean?
Can I hear you sing?
- I think I got an idea.
Robin: Okay.
♪ Sean: [singing in Italian] Robin: I had chills going down my arms and my spine.
I was just, like, wow.
Sean: [singing in Italian] ♪ Kacey: [singing in Italian] Kacey: [singing in Italian] Robin: I don't know where Kacey got that talent from, but singing is not on, on at least my gene.
Kacey: [singing in Italian] ♪ Robin: Bravo!
[applauding] That was so good!
♪ Elizabeth: Okay.
Brenda: My brother Lannux, brother Raleigh, and our cousin, Merle.
Sheila: So... Elizabeth: Look at this picture, man.
In addition to the warm welcome and the wonderful greeting of food, there was this awesome collage of photos of, um, my family.
Brenda: This would be your great-gram Mary.
Elizabeth: Okay.
Brenda: This is Grandma-- Elizabeth: You know, Uncle Jeff and my cousin Brenda were explaining to me who was in each photo, and... Brenda: Brother Raleigh, and our cousin Merle.
- Okay.
Devin: She was already Team Red.
Elizeabeth: I see that.
Devin: Yeah, that's right, right-- Elizabeth: I see that.
Devin: --right, right, right, right, right.
Elizabeth: It's just, it's cool to see all the generations together in one place.
And this is my, is that my grandmother?
Jeff: Yes, it is.
Elizabeth: Is that Carolyn?
Okay.
My grandmother, Carolyn, my dad's mom passed away this week, actually, three years ago, so for the whole family to come together and to meet her sister on the three year anniversary of her passing was just divine appointment, in my opinion.
And th-- oh, look at that!
Jeff: That's baby Jerome.
Elizabeth: There's baby Jerome.
♪ Just when I thought the evening couldn't be any better, I was told to, to, you know, sit down, there was gonna be a presentation of something.
- And so this is the family history from our side.
All right?
And so... ♪ Devin: Wow.
Special.
Jeff: That's what they looked like when they met each other.
Devin: Wow.
Elizabeth: To be able to see pictures of both my biological dad, Jerome, my biological mother, Becci, side by side was... was really powerful to finally have all of those pieces together, and, uh, I'm just, I'm grateful.
After all these years of wondering and not knowing, I can finally say I know exactly where I come from.
I know who I am as a biracial person, and I'm so proud to be a part of the Willis family now, too.
♪ Jerome: The best part is what we have to look forward to in the future.
Grandchildren that I can know and grow up with, she has parents that I can meet and get to know, and I know, I know by looking at her that they're incredible, amazing, wonderful people that I cannot wait to meet, and I just wanna wrap my arms around 'em and give 'em a bunch of love and tell 'em how grateful I am that they took care of... [sniffs] ...of Elizabeth.
God, we thank You so much.
Father in Heaven, we bless Your Holy Name, and we thank You for this privileged opportunity.

Kacey: I do not think we got a strike tonight.
Sean: I don't think we got a strike tonight.
Kacey: I think we got one, or a close second.
Magen: I feel nervous, but this one is pretty sure we did awesome.
[suspenseful music] Dan: The results for day six are in.
Who will receive a strike, and who will win immunity tomorrow?
Wow, can you guys believe it's already the end of day six of Relative Race?
And again, we have all four teams still here with us.
I love finding out who you met, and Liz, I'm gonna go from my top left corner.
Where are you guys at?
- Uh, we are in, ehm, the church that my family has come to worship for many, many years, and in fact, my birth dad, Jerome, was baptized here.
So...
I actually got to meet my great-aunt, Mary Louise, who was the sister to my grandmother, and all these family members, and my aunt, Sheila, drove all the way up from Atlanta to meet me today.
I was just, like, completely blown away, totally speechless.
It was so touching.
Dan: Hey, the church is often where family gathers the most.
Congratulations.
Elizabeth: Thank you.
Dan: Kacey, Sean.
Each and every night so far, the wonderful surprises have been for Kacey.
Sean: Yes.
Dan: Was that the case again today?
Kacey: Yes, Dan, as a matter of fact, it was a surprise.
So we pull up to this house; it's my little sister... [sniffs] ...that I heard about, um... about two, three years after I was born, my biological mother had a daugher and kept her, and so, I had a lot of questions and pain, thinking that, you know, I was just being cast aside and that she just didn't want me, but that was not the case, and Robin has been hoping and wishing and praying, just like me to, uh, meet, meet me someday.
[sniffs] [emotionally] It was very special, and I, I'm glad to have found you, so... Robin: I'm glad it happened.
[laughs] Dan: Robin, thanks for letting us bring your big sister to ya.
Robin: Oh, thank you.
[laughs] - Team Green.
Oh, man.
Monika, I love the fact that the last two days, you have arrived at your relative's house and just knew.
Monika: Yeah, so, as you guys know, yesterday I met Krystal, my sister, and today, I got to meet her twin brother, Kyle, which is also my brother!
- That's awesome.
How ya doin', Kyle?
Kyle: Good, how 'bout yourself?
Dan: I'm fantastic.
Wow, you two actually have a really, really strong resemblance.
Monika: [laughs] Yeah, it's been, it's been a really good afternoon hanging out with him, and he has a fiancée and a little girl, and, it just feels like this is right, so, I'm really excited to be here.
Dan: It's amazing how quickly you just sense, know, and feel who it is and where they belong to you and how you belong to them.
Monika: Absolutely.
Dan: Oh, congratulations.

Who did you meet today?
Joseph: Today, we got to meet our cousin on our mother's side... Travis: How's it goin'?
Joseph: Travis.
Dan: Oh, wow.
Joseph: We're finding so much about our family, and today, Anthony and I found out that we were actually two of, of five in our family, so... Anthony: Yep.
Dan: Well, congratulations to all of you because first of all, you've all survived to day six, but who will survive this day without a strike?
[intense music] I've got news for all of you.
The difference between first place and last place today, total difference: nine minutes, total, between all four teams.
♪ Now, let's first talk about the team that finished in first place, and picking up immunity tomorrow.
Well, I'm happy to say that finishing two minutes under their allotted time... is...

I mentioned how close all of the teams were.
The difference between finishing in second and picking up a strike was four minutes, total.
Finishing three minutes over their allotted time... you guys are so lucky you had your GPS to use.

Dan: Team Black.
Kacey: High five.
Dan: And now, Team Green and Team Blue.
Anthony: Finding out we're bottom two again, I'm feeling mixed emotions.
I'm definitely scared.
Dan: The difference between third place and picking up a strike was two minutes.
I do need to state the obvious.
Team Blue, if you pick up this strike, it will be your third strike on Relative Race.
Team Green, if you pick up the strike, it will mean your second blemish in the race.
Finishing five minutes over their allotted time... [intense music] Team Blue.
[pensive music] Anthony: I'm feeling disappointed that we didn't get a little bit higher; at the same time, I'm also thankful that we didn't place last and aren't out of the race.
Dan: Team Green, you finished seven minutes over your allotted time, and you have picked up your second strike on Relative Race.
Magen: We don't like being in the bottom two, we certainly don't like getting strikes.
[sighs] Dan: So, tomorrow brings an all-new day, and for Team Green and Team Blue, focus.
Every turn matters.
We want you all to meet all of your relatives, but only one team will also pick up the $50,000 first place prize.
Congratulations to Team Red, what a great day, but congratulations to all of you for finding more family.
You're in one of the most beautiful, important journeys of your life, but get some sleep because tomorrow is day seven of Relative Race.

Jerome: I believe that they're winners.
They're winners before they started the race, they're winners during the race, and you'll see.
They'll be a winner at the end of the race.
Kacey: Our arch-nemesis, Team Green, is one step closer to elimination.
Sean: Yeah.
Kacey: Uh, I think it's pretty much a toss-up between Team Green or Team Blue, who's gonna go home first.
Magen: Bye.
Dan: Thank you.
Kyle: Dang it, girls.
Monika: Just insane, like.
Just, it's crazy.
Magen: We are tired and frustrated, and it's gonna take a night to walk this one off.
Kyle: Everybody's still in the race, though, aren't they?
