The Everhart Museum was established in Scranton in 1908 by Isaah Everhart. He served in the civil war as a medical officer and Doctor but his real passion was as a naturalist, exploring the natural world around him. His passion is still alive in the Everhart museum, where dinosaur remains sit alongside paintings and other works of art.
