Exiled to Motown | Episode 536/Segment 3

A story of displacement and resettlement. Japanese Americans who were sent to incarceration camps during World War II had limited choices; stay in the camps with the people they know or head east and start new lives in places they’d never imagined. One Detroit’s Bill Kubota knows something about that with his parents coming here right after the war. He takes a look into the harrowing journey.
