Like took them off, licked it, like it was a full gig.

My objective that day wasn't giving a good performance, it was just not to ruin her takes, because It was the funniest thing I've ever seen.

I did ruin a couple, I'm so sorry.

And I have gone home, offset, and listened to them like it's a cast recording, like the big music theater nerd I am, because they're so good.

Composing for television is quite a bit different to composing for music theater, and opera.

Chiefly because everything has to be shorter.

So the songs are short, punchy, hooky, and my intention with the music is to get people's attention very quickly and not not outstay our welcome.
