Hi, my name is Kali Kahn, I am the director of Fairchild, a coming of age film set in the Florida Everglades about a 15 year old girl trying to navigate the casual traumas of young womanhood and the pressures around her as she forges her identity as a woman.
[counselor] Come on guys.

Hi, my name is Miguel Angel Tamayo.
And my name is Catherine Mairena.
We created the film, "Sunnyside."
"Sunnyside" is a short narrative film about a young girl named Lola growing up in a gritty hotel called the Sunnyside with her alcoholic father.
And at the age of 13, she finds herself pregnant.
When a young drifter checks in, that's when Lola sees an opportunity to escape the Sunnyside and leave it all behind her.
[dad] You look more and more like you mom every day, you know that, baby girl?

My mama named me Lola.
I'm Simon.
