For Fatima, foster care wasn’t a negative experience; in fact, it saved her.
Fatima entered the foster care system at 15 and aged out at 21. Since leaving her foster home at 18, she has encountered many obstacles. Fatima is now a full-time student at Cal State Fullerton, a full time intern at the Norwalk Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk, and a single mother of two beautiful children. She is majoring in Human Services with a concentration in Mental Health.
