#### Governor Beshear signed an executive order, lowering Kentucky's property tax on vehicles.
The tax went up by around 40 percent in recent months, as used car values increased due to a shortage of new cars.
The governor says the tax will return to a level similar to last year.
#### The governor is also proposing a reduction in the state sales tax, from six percent to five percent, as a way to battle inflation.
Representative Angie Hatton will introduce that legislation.
The governor says the two moves could save Kentuckians one-point-two billion dollars.
#### The state Senate passed a bill that would force transgender female athletes to play on boys' sports teams.
Senate Bill 83 still has to pass the state House.
