#### State Senator Donald Douglas today introduced a resolution calling for Kentucky to end its COVID state of emergency on March 7th.
He cited California as a state changing from pandemic policy to "endemic" policy.
Senator Karen Berg responded, saying California can do that because its vaccination rate is higher than Kentucky's.
#### Kentucky's COVID positivity rate is now below 15 percent.
Kentucky has around 44-hundred new cases.
#### Representative Jason Nemes says he will sponsor a bill supporting a Constitutional amendment, allowing defendants to be denied bail if they pose a grave danger.
This is after Quintez Brown bailed out of jail, just two days after being accused of firing shots at Louisville mayoral candidate Craig Greenberg.
