Senator Mitch McConnell today denounced Russia's Vladimir Putin for invading a sovereign country.
He says the humanitarian toll could be catastrophic.
McConnell called for strong sanctions and urged the U.S. and its allies to stand with, and support, the people of Ukraine.
#### Former State Representative C. Wesley Morgan says someone shot and killed his 32-year-old daughter at a home he owns in Madison County.
Morgan told the Lexington Herald-Leader that he and his wife were also... quote... "shot up."
State police continue to investigate.
Morgan served one term as state representative in the 81st district.
#### Kentucky has 33-hundred new cases of COVID-19, with a positivity rate of just over 12 percent.
