#### State Representative Jason Petrie today introduced a bill to gradually lower Kentucky's income tax while extending the sales tax to some services.

Under the bill, the five-percent income tax would drop by a point, each year, until it's eliminated - if the state meets revenue targets.

#### Attorney General Daniel Cameron says he's finalized a settlement with four drug distributors for their part in Kentucky's opioid problem.

Kentucky will get 483 million dollars, with half going to the state and half to local governments.
