#### Governor Beshear says Kentucky received more sleet than ice, causing a winter storm less destructive than expected.
Still, he urges people to stay off the roads for now.
As of this afternoon, about seven-thousand people were without power, most of them in western Kentucky.
#### A bill, from State Senator Max Wise, would outline what teachers can and can't teach about American history.
According to the Courier-Journal, Senate Bill 138 says teachers CAN teach slavery and oppression while emphasizing American values that all people are equal, and not responsible for the actions of others of the same race or sex.
There are already two House bills that deal with similar concerns over critical race theory.
