Ceena Vang has taken the lead as Detroit area Asian Americans find ways to deal with the recent incidents where Asians are victims including the Atlanta spa shootings. In a matter of days after the shooting, Vang, a Hmong American born here and Troy High School alum helped organize the first rally in Detroit. One Detroit learns what motivated her to start her activist group Whenever We’re Needed.
