By going into the homes, seeing the moms, seeing the babies, we're going to catch things before they become a real challenge.
We're going to be able to address on the spot or send a mom or a baby to a doctor before their scheduled appointment.
So there's there's just a million ways this is going to help.
And honestly, for me, in trying to bring equity, which is what we've been trying to do since the beginning, the best part about this is there is no stigma whether you're a a millionaire or whether you are on Medicaid, the care is going to be the same, the access is the same, and there's no cost to the parents.
And we've already had thousands of inquiries online since we since we launched this.
And we've already had we already have 15 scheduled appointments.
Two nurses visited last week and already have already started this work.
And, you know, it's just it's just really it's really exciting.
I wish I'd had this certainly when I had my babies.
So I would say every January it's calendar-based.
So every January going forward, it'll take four years to get to the entire state.
But as every as each January, we're going to roll out five or six counties and the counties are looked at basically in terms of need, on the one hand in terms of birth and also what's the infrastructure on the ground.
So we've got we've got metrics to figure out where we're going next and when.
But it will take it will take four years to get it across the whole state.
The other piece about that is we don't want to rush this and mess something up.
We want to learn if there's something we can learn and make sure that we implement the best practices as we roll out additionally across the state, then that's what we're gonna do.
We also have to obviously grow the nursing population.
We're starting out with 40 nurses.
We have to get up to about 250.
So we know that.
I would just say to everybody here, please send everybody that you hear to Family Connects N.J.
Right now, because we are we are ready to go.
