This is one of the greatest culture exhibitions in the world.
Believe me.
♪♪ >> I like to say that Semana Santa Holy Week, it's a moment that we need to have our senses working all the time.
It means that Seville is beautiful now because of the smell.
We've got 3,000 orange trees perfuming the city, the orange blossom.
Then we have the incense.
It's close to the churches and processions.
Then obviously the ear is important.
If you like music, we have bands playing music for the whole day.
♪♪ >> This style now, it's called tango, a tango flamenco.
And this is a very happy style.
These are very happy songs.
And the words here in this song they are telling about a young woman, and she's asking to dress very, very beautiful for the big fiesta.

He's very pure.
He is very intuitive.
He's going on stage, and he's like an animal.
>> [ Singing in Spanish ] ♪♪ ♪♪ >> Manuel is this incredibly talented flamenco dancer that we met after we saw his show at Teatro Flamenco.
He is just -- he's this young, just vibrant personality.
He's such a kind soul.
And we were lucky enough to sit down with him for a little bit.
>> It was just so amazing to be able to break bread together and really kind of share those stories as families.
My sister and I grew up also tap dancing, and we were noticing that there were certain steps that were maybe kind of similar.
Flamenco is really this dance that is extremely grounded.
It's extremely strong.

And then you see her on stage, and she's like a completely different person.
It's just this, you know, it's like a different person has come over her when she's dancing.

When the dancer is dancing, he is telling us with some, with movements, with science, and with codes what he or she wants, and we have to react.
>> I'm the boss, but I have to do my best because the singer needs to have inspiration, and the guitar, too.

She can be very serious in her dance.
She sort of interiorizes very much everything.
And she can stop a dance for three minutes just moving a finger or an arm and then all of it happens.

And then just in a single day, we've completely changed it.

La saeta is when a singer starts singing a prayer a from a balcony to the Virgin Mary.
It sounds like flamenco.
>> [ Singing in Spanish ] ♪♪ ♪♪ >> At the end of the day, really, all we have is family and faith.
And faith can mean many different things to many different people.
That can be faith in yourself.
That can be faith in a higher power.
But I think it's faith in a better tomorrow.
>> Love is the best and the greatest energy we can have on the world.
>> To me, flamenco is love.
