New Jersey's new Community Contact Tracing Corps debuted Wednesday with 230 tracers newly-trained by Rutgers School of Public Health ready to be deployed. But some local health departments, who did all their own contact tracing during the pandemic surge in spring, say they don't really need a statewide tracing corps. They like their own teams. What they do want is a lot more funding.
