Lawmakers look to stop schools from 'passing the trash'

A bill would stop schools from passing off teachers who've face sexual abuse allegations.

A bill that would require schools to disclose if an employee has ever faced substantiated or pending allegations of sexual abuse passed the Assembly Education Committee on Tuesday.
